Last updated: October 4, 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of KeyTa (keyta.ca) ("KeyTa", "we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.

2. Description of services

KeyTa is an AI-powered platform designed to assist users in buying and selling real estate properties in Canada, primarily in Ontario.

The platform provides:

  • Property listing and discovery tools
  • AI-powered market analysis and pricing insights
  • Marketing and listing support
  • Offer submission and negotiation tools
  • Transaction workflow and document support
  • Integration with licensed professionals (agents, lawyers, lenders)

KeyTa is a technology platform, not a replacement for licensed professionals.

Real estate transactions in Ontario require involvement of licensed brokerages and legal professionals.

3. Eligibility

To use KeyTa, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be legally able to enter binding agreements in your jurisdiction
  • Provide accurate and truthful information

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

4. User accounts

You agree to:

  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Provide accurate and updated information
  • Notify us of unauthorized access

You are responsible for all activity under your account.

5. What KeyTa is and isn't

KeyTa is not a brokerage. It works under a licensed real estate brokerage, and every transaction goes through that brokerage. KeyTa uses technology to cut the cost of selling and buying a home, and whenever you need help, a licensed real estate agent can help you.

KeyTa does not replace your lawyer, your lender or the brokerage's licensed agents.

Certain steps, such as listing on the MLS® System, legal review and closing, are carried out by licensed professionals as Ontario law requires.

6. No professional advice

All information on KeyTa is for informational and assistive purposes only.

KeyTa does not provide:

  • Legal advice
  • Financial or investment advice

You assume full responsibility for acting on AI-generated insights.

8. User responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate property and financial information
  • Conduct your own due diligence
  • Verify all information before making decisions
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations

You acknowledge that real estate transactions involve significant financial and legal risk.

9. Property listings and transactions

If you list a property:

  • You confirm you have the legal right to list it
  • All information must be accurate and not misleading
  • You must comply with applicable disclosure laws

If you submit an offer:

  • Offers may be legally binding
  • You are responsible for reviewing terms before submission
  • You should seek legal advice before entering agreements

10. Fees

KeyTa charges home sellers a flat fee, published on keyta.ca when you list. You pay the flat fee only when your home sells. If your home does not sell, you do not pay it.

Along the way you may choose optional paid services, such as a detailed comparative market analysis (CMA) report, photo and video enhancement, a sign or a lockbox. If your home sells, what you paid for these services is credited toward the flat fee.

The flat fee does not include your real estate lawyer's fees or any commission you choose to offer the buyer's agent. Commissions are negotiable.

Payments to KeyTa may be processed by a third-party payment processor.
