About KeyTa

KeyTa uses AI to cut the cost of selling and buying a home. Sellers pay a flat fee of $1,499 instead of a percentage listing commission, and decide what to offer the buyer's agent. Every transaction goes through a licensed real estate brokerage, and a licensed agent can help whenever you need one.

Our mission

Listing a home shouldn't cost a percentage of its price. Most of the work in a sale is pricing, listing, marketing, scheduling and paperwork, and good software does that faster and for less. KeyTa does that work with AI and keeps licensed agents and lawyers where judgment matters.

What you pay

The cost of selling the same home, two ways.

KeyTa charges a flat fee of $1,499 to sell your home, less than 0.15% of a $1,000,000 sale. A traditional 5% commission on the same sale is about $50,000 and usually includes the buyer's agent's share; with KeyTa you decide what commission to offer the buyer's agent. Commissions are negotiable.

Deposits held in trust

The buyer's deposit is held in the brokerage's trust account until closing.

How KeyTa works for sellers

We do most of the work, from pricing to marketing. You make the decisions.

  1. We price your home. Add your home's details and photos, and we compare it with recent sales nearby to suggest a price range.
  2. We list and market it. We write your listing, put it on the MLS® System through the brokerage we work with, and prepare your marketing materials.
  3. We guide you through offers. Our step-by-step plan shows what to do next, and a licensed agent can help you review and negotiate each offer.
  4. Your lawyer closes the sale. Your real estate lawyer completes the sale, and our flat fee is due only when your home sells.

How KeyTa works for buyers

Search, ask and book showings with KeyTa, and get a licensed agent when you're ready to make an offer.

  1. Search homes. Search homes for sale with photos, prices and details, no account needed, and save the ones you like to your watchlist.
  2. Ask the KeyTa assistant. Ask about listings, neighbourhoods and the market any time, and estimate payments with the mortgage calculator.
  3. See the home. Request a showing on the consultation page, and we confirm within 24 hours.
  4. Make your offer. A licensed agent can help you make an offer and negotiate, and your real estate lawyer completes the purchase.
